The Roadhouse's founder, Mel Melton, was one of the original founders of a chef's guild in the early 70's in Lafayette, Louisiana along with Paul Prudhomme and other iconic Cajun chefs long before creole became a popular household genre. We cook local and proudly support locally-grown and raised food and drink.
