Papa Mojo's is proud to announce Kevin Ingram as our new Director of Operations. He is a welcomed addition to our leadership and has already launched our new retail line of food products, orchestrated some impressive catering jobs, and developed some great structural initiatives behind the scenes.
Kevin brings over twenty years of experience in all aspects of the food/hospitality industry - from food preparation to food presentation, both single and multi-location restaurant management, as well as an established track record with his own KSI Catering (which he is merging with PMR'S catering services). So, when you see Kevin in the Roadhouse - give him a hearty welcome! We're excited to have him guiding our Krewe into 2010!

Special Appearance
Pass the word and hold onto your rub-boards, - NATHAN WILLIAMS AND THE ZYDECO CHA CHAS are coming to Papa Mojo’s for a special appearance!! It’s not often you get to see this big a talent in such an intimate setting, and we’re feeling real privileged to host the Southwest Louisiana's premier Zydeco ensemble. Nathan’s stylings on the piano accordion have made him one of the most-admired players in the zydeco scene, following in Clifton Chenier's and Buckwheat Zydeco's huge footsteps. And dancers - please be reassured that we will remove tables after dinner to have a dance floor ready for you to enjoy by the time the music starts!!

WEDNESDAY = OPEN-MIC NITE
If you haven't been down for Open Mic Nite at Papa Mojo's, you need to come on down to enjoy the atmosphere. Host, BRETT CHAMBERS, and his Usual Suspects do a fine job of setting the tone for a great variety-filled show. Music starts at 8:00pm.
FAT TUESDAY
Mardi Gras was such a blast - we thank you all for coming out to celebrate with us! It was our first time to use the ballroom across the way, and thank goodness we did - it was hands-down the biggest gathering we’ve ever had! So many folks came with great masks & beads - one family even brought a King Cake with them! We thank the musicians, artists, the folks who own Seasons at Tandoor (our new favorite ballroom) and our sponsors: Harris Distributing; Pepsi; and Abita Brewery for helping us make the affair a success. And we also want to thank the King & Queen of Mardi Gras for making an appearance towards the end of the festivities - we were honored to be on their dance-card!!
Our Grand Prize Mask winner (below) was Ms. Christy Miller – and she made this mask herself.
