Mel shares an informal visit with NY Chef Anthony Bourdain, author & TV host of Travel Network’s “No Reservations”, during a recent appearance at DPAC.

The legendary Kim Wilson & the Fabulous Thunderbirds stopped by for a lunch break at Papa Mojo’s on their road tour through the Triangle. Mel joined the band onstage for a gig at Loafers in Raleigh - and after the show, the whole group returned to Papa Mojo’s for some late-night gumbo & shrimp before returning to their motel. (Needless to say, they were smilin’ all the way out the door!)

Papa Mojo’s kicked off its first Bayou Brunch last Sunday, and the kitchen staff really knocked it out of the park!! We got rave reviews from all of our guests on our Cajun Omelettes & Roadhouse Poached Eggs - not to mention those long-awaited beignets!! So, y’all come on in on Sundays -- we’re ready to serve you!!! See Brunch menu.

-All-You-Can-Eat Fried Catfish (w/ cornbread, Cajun cole slaw & potato salad)
-8:30-10:30pm --Open Mike Nite w/ Brett Chambers & “The Usual Suspects”

We’re all trying to be patient as we wait for Crawfish Boil season! Stay tuned - we hope that by the end of the month, we’ll be ready to serve up those notorious trays of mud bugs with potatoes & corn.
