Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos
Since we can't have CJ Chenier (the Zydeco Prince), the next best way to celebrate our First Year Anniversary is to bring on our own King of Mojoland: Mel Melton!!! He and his band will be stirring up the zydeco-fever and spinning their own swamp-stomping tunes. As band leader Mel Melton describes his music: "There's zydeco of course, and Cajun and blues, and New Orleans jazz and funk. But as far as what we're playing, I like to call it 'Mojo Music." So come on down, celebrate our birthday with us and get the spell put on ya! More info.

If you’re yearning for an authentic swamp-stomping zydeco blues experience - here’s your chance!. Mel Melton is one classic blues harmonica musician, and he’s backed by a tight-knit and talented band that will have you up dancin’ before you know what hit you! As band leader Mel Melton describes his music: "There's zydeco of course, and Cajun and blues, and New Orleans jazz and funk. But as far as what we're playing, I call it 'Mojo Music."
